Is this a good weight loss plan?

Okay well my life plan is to join either the Marine Corps or the U.S. Navy but I'm having major trouble losing the weight. What are the best weight loss techniques?

I have been trying all different kinds of diets, exercises and foods, but nothing has seemed to work. I need to lose at least 20kg to be back in the 'healthy' range again. Is there anything that you could reccommend? I have a 2 month time frame as well. Thanks
